As My Good Buddy Bill Clinton Was Saying

Here's an article that raises just a tiny eyebrow:

Saying he had been approached many times by the Rockefellers and other members of the CFR elite in an attempt to recruit him, [Aaron] Russo recalled a conversation that would come home to roost on September 11, 2001.

"Here's what I do know first hand - I know that about eleven months to a year before 9/11 ever happened I was talking to my Rockefeller friend (Nicholas Rockefeller) and he said to me 'Aaron there's gonna be an event' and he never told me what the event was going to be - I'm not sure he knew what the event was going to be I don't know that he knew that," said Russo.

Russo related how Rockefeller knew precisely what the event would lead to and which countries would be militarily targeted by the elite.

"He just said there's gonna be an event and out of that event we're gonna invade Afghanistan so we can run pipelines through the Caspian sea, we can go into Iraq to take the oil and establish bases in the middle east and to make the middle east part of the new world order and we're going to go after Venezuela - that's what's going to come out of this event."

How fiendish that they would tell this to Aaron Russo, whose biography at IMBD notes that he's a nutbar:

After producing a string of films and directing "Rude Awakening." Russo turned to blending radical politics with entertainment. He tried to sell a pilot for a television show called "Aaron Russo's Mad As Hell" in the early 1990s. When he was unsuccessful in selling the controversial program to networks, he began selling the pilot as a video in 1996. In 1994 he tried to start a political party called the Constitution Party. In 1998, however, he ran for the Republican party nomination for governor of the state of Nevada. (He lost.) In 2000, he supported the Libertarian party.

Russo is the director of the new "documentary" Freedom to Fascism. I watched about ten minutes of it on Google the other day; it appears to be one of those nutty anti-tax films, claiming that there is no law that requires us to pay our taxes. Those cunning bastards at the New World Order! I'll watch some more of it if it seems to be catching on among the fruitcakes.

I hate to tell you this, but this Russo feller is on to something.

He says that Rockyfeller (another feller?) says that 1 year before 9/11 Rocky Feller "knew" something was going ti happen. My questions are thus: Where is Rocky Feller now, what is he doing, and what role did he play in helping Bill Clinton blow up the Oklahoma City building?

No problems here - just asking questions. Questions, you hear.

I'll watch some more of (Russo's movie) if it seems to be catching on among the fruitcakes.

It's not. It had a "theatrical release" early in the summer and saw very little screen time, except at tax-protestor events. It's had no effect on anyone who wasn't already a true believer.

Needless to say, the arguments presented in the film are all complete nonsense. If you're interested, Quatloos.com is a good resource for this.

I don't see where the bio you pasted "notes" that he is a "nutbar" (reich-wingers just love ad-hominems). Maybe you're applying the British use of "mad" in the title, "Aaron Russo's Mad as Hell". It means "angry".

It is so pitiful to see that reich-wingers, as yourselves, will never do any real research, they just look for what they want to hear and stop there. Watching only 10 minutes of "America: From Freedom to Fascism" indicates that you really don't give a shit what happens to your country as long as you can still drive your Hummers and watch the big game on your Hi-Def TV. In a way, you prove the ruling elite to be correct: Americans are just too stupid to control their own government.

You eager morons will be first in line to get chipped.

How cute. He dings you for ad hominem attacks and then proceeds to call us "reich wingers" and eager morons.

I found this old post while researching Aaron Russo--a friend of mine has bought into the conspiracy theories and it's my job to do the debunking.
